DR PHOPHI RAMATHUBA MOURNS THE DEATH OF A PROFESSIONAL NURSE.
Limpopo health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba is very angry and disappointed by the death of a professional nurse Susan Mulaudzi stationed at Elim hospital.
In the early morning of 26th December 2020, Mrs Susan Mulaudzi was on her way to work at Elim hospital vhembe district. Her car was hit by a taxi and unfortunately she died on the spot. It is alleged that taxi driver aged 26 with other four occupants were from Asawa tarven at Hamasakona village where they spend the whole night of the 25 December 2020 drinking alcohol. The taxi is from Gauteng and was back home for festive season. They decided to leave the tarven this morning and unfortunately met a hard-working, responsible and caring citizen on her way to save lives on a holiday and crush into her vehicle and killed her.
MEC said that ” I am angry, i cannot loose a professional nurse during the period when i need them most. People came back from Gauteng and instead of spending time with family at home they went on a drinking spree the entire night and now they have taken the life of a valuable person. We will make sure justice is served on this case.
Sister Susan Mulaudzi leaves behind her two children a boy and a girl, her husband who is a Radiographer at Elim hospital.
MEC has send messages of condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.
