Four Dead in Rollover Accident Near Kinross and Kriel

Tragic news reaches us this morning regarding a serious road incident in Mpumalanga. Four people have sadly lost their lives in a single-vehicle accident that occurred in the early hours.

Details emerging from the scene indicate that the crash took place on the R547 between Kinross and Kriel at approximately 3:00 AM. A sedan is reported to have lost control, believed to be due to the misty conditions prevalent at that time. The vehicle subsequently overturned.

Sadly, all four occupants of the sedan, the driver and three passengers, were fatally wounded as a result of the incident.

Local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and are urging motorists to exercise extreme caution, especially during periods of reduced visibility. They reiterate the importance of adhering to speed limits and maintaining a safe following distance.
