Mickeyblack Ignites Royal Heritage Festival Stage with Fiery Performance.
Fancy a trip with a difference? Forget Benidorm for a bit! I’ve been reading about the Phalaphala FM Royal Heritage Festival in South Africa, and it sounds absolutely amazing. It’s held at the Royal Gardens, near the Nandoni Dam, and seems to be a proper celebration of culture and music. From what I can gather, it’s a pretty big deal.
Apparently, this year’s festival was a real blast. I saw a post on Twitter (well, X now, isn’t it?) that mentions someone called Mickeyblack “owning the stage with pure fire!” according to this tweet. The hashtags suggest it was broadcast on SABC 2, which means it’s a well-respected event.
I’m thinking it might be worth investigating. South Africa has such a rich heritage, and a festival like this seems like a brilliant way to experience it. Imagine the music, the dancing, and the atmosphere!
I had a quick look online and found this website from The City of Thohoyandou which might be of interest City of Thohoyandou News. It doesn’t mention the festival specifically but could provide usefull information about the area.
Anyone else heard of it? Maybe someone’s been and can give us the inside scoop! Let me know in the comments!
