Woman found with multiple stab wounds at boyfriend’s home.

Police are in a manhunt for a suspect responsible for the murder of a 22-year old woman in Ha-Mutsha, Khwekhwe Limpopo province, on Saturday night 29 August 2020 at 21h45.

Police spokeperson Brigadia Motlafela Mojapelo says, residents alert the Levubu police in the Vhembe District about the accident.

On arrival they found the lifeless body of a woman, identified as Grace Mudau with multiple stab wounds in her boyfriend’s kraal, Mojapelo said.

Preliminary investigation were conducted and it looks like the deceased might have been killed elsewhere and the body was taken then dumped at the scene. The alleged boyfriend has disappeared, She said. A case of murder has been opened.

Limpopo police commissioner Lieutenant General Nnkeke Ledwaba condemned the “horrendous act” saying he had instructed his team to hunt down the suspects and bring them to book. The police have called on Kenneth Mphaphuli who is the person of interest, to report to Levubu police station.

“Anyone with information that can lead to arrest the suspect(s) may contact Detective Warrant officer Edward Modogwa on 072 102 6731, Crime Stop number on 086 001 0111 or the nearest police station” Mojapelo said. Police investigation are still continuing.
