R101 Accident Death Toll Rises to Nine

The incident, which occurred on Thursday, August 14th, involved a police vehicle and a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) on the R101 road, between Mokopane and Mookgopong.
Following the initial collision, several individuals were rushed to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention. Police have now confirmed that two more inmates, who were passengers in the police vehicle, have since died from their injuries.
