Mangaung Metro Operation Targets Cross-Border Crime

In a move aimed at tackling cross-border crime, the Mangaung Metro is intensifying its efforts in several key areas. District Commissioner Major-General Arthur Peter Adams is spearheading a high-density deployment operation involving dedicated station commanders and seasoned detectives across the Wepener, Dewetsdorp, and Vanstadensrus policing precincts.

The operation, details of which are scarce for security reasons, focuses on disrupting criminal activities that span across jurisdictional boundaries. Authorities have committed to boosting police presence and responsiveness in these areas, hoping to deter potential offenders and swiftly address any incidents that arise.

“This deployment demonstrates our unwavering commitment to the safety and security of our communities,” said a police spokesperson. “By working collaboratively and strategically, we aim to create a safer environment for all residents.”

Residents in the affected areas are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police immediately. The police are working hard to secure the areas.
