Royal Heritage Festival Features Gusba, Baba, and Vho-Dokotela

Fancy a trip to South Africa with a difference? Forget the usual safari – I’ve just stumbled across something truly unique and thought I’d share it with you all. It’s called the Phalaphala FM Royal Heritage Festival, and from what I can gather, it’s quite the cultural celebration!
Apparently, it all goes down at the Royal Gardens near Nandoni Dam. Now, I’ve never been, but a quick Google tells me Nandoni Dam is a pretty spectacular spot. Think stunning scenery and sunshine – perfect for a festival, right?
The festival seems to be broadcast on SABC 2 and promoted by Phalaphala FM. The link Baba! Vho-Dokotela suggests the Royal Heritage Festival is a vibrant celebration! While I can’t give you all the details about the line-up (my Venda is a bit rusty!), it looks like music, dancing, and a whole lot of South African pride are on the menu.
It sounds like a fantastic opportunity to experience Venda culture firsthand. If you happen to be planning a trip to that part of the world, or even just fancy a bit of virtual travel, it might be worth checking out what’s happening around that time. Check out the local news here for more details! Who knows, you might just discover your new favourite festival.
