Asa Tee & JR Player Shine at Royal Heritage Festival in the North

Fancy a trip a little off the beaten path? Then you might want to add the Phalaphala FM Royal Heritage Festival to your future travel plans. This vibrant celebration takes place annually at the Royal Gardens, nestled beside the scenic Nandoni Dam in South Africa. While I haven’t been myself (yet!), it looks like an amazing experience based on what I’ve seen online.

The festival, organised by Phalaphala FM radio, seems to be a real highlight of the cultural calendar. From the looks of things, it’s a fantastic showcase of local music and heritage. Judging by a post on their Twitter (now X) account, there’s even a karaoke session! You can see the post and a short video clip right here: Check out the Karaoke. It features Asa Tee & JR Player performing on what they describe as “the biggest stage in the NORTH.”

I’m really intrigued by the mix of traditional heritage and modern entertainment. It sounds like a great way to learn more about the local culture and have a good time doing it. Plus, the location at Nandoni Dam looks absolutely stunning. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy music in such a beautiful setting?

If you’re thinking of visiting the area, it’s worth checking out the latest news and events in the nearby City of Thohoyandou. You can find updates and information on their website: City of Thohoyandou News.

So, has anyone been to the Phalaphala FM Royal Heritage Festival? I’d love to hear your experiences in the comments below! Maybe it’ll convince me to book a flight for next year!
