Glam Room Opens at Royal Heritage Festival, Ready to Slay!
Right, listen up, because I want to tell you about something *completely* different, a proper knees-up happening way beyond our shores. Forget muddy Glastonbury, this is sunshine, sparkle, and serious South African vibes!
So, I stumbled across this festival on the interwebs – the Phalaphala FM Royal Heritage Festival. Sounds fancy, eh? Well, from what I can gather, it’s a massive celebration held annually at Nandoni Dam, specifically at a place called Royal Gardens. Think music, culture, and a right royal party atmosphere, all rolled into one.
Now, I haven’t been myself (yet!), but the online buzz is incredible. Just check out this tweet here – they even have a glam room! A glam room, people! Getting your face painted with glitter and all that jazz is fun and enjoyable. They are even offering makeup for everyone. Can you imagine getting ready to party with that view of Nandoni Dam? Pure bliss.
Apparently, the festival is a real showcase of Venda culture. It’s a chance to experience the local traditions, music, and, no doubt, some absolutely incredible food. I am sure that it’s better than food poisoning. I’ve been trying to find out more about the area. If you’re curious about other local events, you might want to have a look around here, which shares local news.
It’s definitely got me thinking about a trip to South Africa. Maybe one day I’ll be able to tell you all about it firsthand, sipping something cold and dancing the night away at the Royal Heritage Festival. Until then, I’ll be living vicariously through the photos and videos online. Anyone else fancy joining me for a trip next year?
