Limpopo Police Welcome 20-Year Sentence for Rapist

The Polokwane High Court has sentenced Thomas Dama Monayi, 37, to 20 years’ imprisonment following his conviction on multiple serious charges. The case, which involved multiple counts of r*pe, theft, and one count of aggravated robbery, has been met with a sense of relief within the community.

Police Constable and Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo has publicly welcomed the court’s decision.
