Royal Heritage Festival: Anticipation Builds for Tomorrow’s Performances

Fancy a bit of South African sunshine and some incredible music? Well, let’s talk about the Phalaphala FM Royal Heritage Festival! It’s a yearly event that looks like an absolute blast, held right next to the beautiful Nandoni Dam at a place called Royal Gardens. Based on the vibe on their social media, especially this tweet about the line-up here, it’s a proper celebration of culture and music.

So, what’s the Royal Heritage Festival all about? From what I gather, it’s a big party with loads of South African musicians performing. The tweet I saw mentioned “Matshelo” and promised things would be happening “Nandoni”, which I’m guessing means there were some amazing performances right by the dam! It sounds like it was broadcast on SABC2 and is organised with Phalaphala FM, a local radio station.

I reckon it’s a brilliant way to experience a different culture and soak up some sunshine at the same time. Plus, it’s right next to Nandoni Dam, so you’re getting stunning views as part of the package. If you are planning a visit to the area, check out local news for the latest updates about local events. Maybe next year I’ll try to get myself out there and see it for myself! Keep an eye on Phalaphala FM and any other local travel for future dates.
